Fair Play Award Winners at Kohl's American Cup

July 12, 2008 our U8 Rec Plus Girl's program particpated in the Kohl's American Cup a fun 4v4 event that matched them against communites from around the state.

The event was great and to top it off our U8 Rec Plus Girl's were recognized with the Fair Play Award.

Thanks to the girls, the coaches, and their families for a great day.


Try-outs - August 3-10

When: August 3-10

Where: Valley Crossing Community School - the Valley Crossing and Colby Lake Fields

Who:  This year every age group will try-out during this week.  WSC will be holding try-outs for U9 to U19 boys and girls teams at each level of competition.  Premier, C1, C2, C3 try-outs will be conducted at the same time.

How:  There are two (2) try-out sessions for each age group and gender. Players do not have to attend both sessions but are strongly encouraged to participate in both sessions.

Try-outs will follow the format of a group warm-up, small sided games, and finish with the age appropriate size game.

Players will receive a try-out t-shirt with a number that players are expected to wear to each try-out session

Registration:  All tryout attendees will be required to submit a Tryout Registration form along with a non-refundable* fee of $50.

'08 Fall Recreational and Competitive Registration Now Open

Woodbury Soccer Club is pleased to announce that registration for our Fall Recreation Program and our Competitive Program is now open.

The format for our Fall Recreational League has changed this year compared to past years to come into line with US Youth Soccer and MYSA's (Minnesota Youth Soccer Association) small sided games.  This change will provide every child more opportunities to particpate and increase their connection with the game of soccer.

Our Competiitve try-outs will be August 3-10 and the detailed schedule will be posted by the end of June.

Spring 2009 Competitive Registration

Registration for Spring 2009 will be different than it has been in the past.  Here are the steps to follow for registration:

1.  Submit a completed/signed Tryout Registration form along with non-refundable $50 tryout fee at tryouts.  (Click here for more information.)

2.  As tryouts are completed, candidates for the highest playing level team per age level will be posted and offered a position on the team.  These candidates will have up to 48 hours to accept a position.  Each subsequent playing level team will be notified/posted as the prior level roster is filled. 

3.  Online registration will open for the Spring 2009 season as each age level finishes their tryouts.  Registration for the Spring 2009 season will be $300, when added to the Tryout registration fee totals $350.  To register online, please go to the Registration section of our website and follow the link to the Woodbury Athletic Association's Online Registration System. 

  • Please refer to the yellow postcards sent out by the WAA which contains your Household ID#.
  • If you need a Household ID# or have forgotten your login information, please follow the directions on the Registration System's home page.

NOTE:  All Competitive 2009 players will be required to pay the $50 tryout fee, whether they attend tryouts or not.  For those who will miss tryouts, you will need to submit a completed/signed Tryout Registration form with payment to the WAA office PRIOR to tryouts in order for your child to be considered for team formations.  For those who miss tryouts entirely, then register after teams are formed, you will still be required to pay the $50 fee.  Look to receive more information on this process after you have registered.
